About Us

The Electronic Radiation Licensing and Services System (ERLS) is a system for providing licensing and related services to facilitate the safe use of ionizing radiation in Hong Kong, which includes:

- Radioactive Substances and Irradiating Apparatus Licensing Service
- Provision of personal radiation monitoring services
- Provision of radiological protection advice and services in general
- Permits to transport radioactive substances
- Medical examination of radiation workers
